I warned you that there would be another name change! This will be the last one, I swear. We started out as Galloping Goats Farm and then became Slightly Askew Studios and now I have finally landed (for now) on The New Adventures of an Almost Old Mom. In my last post I revealed our idea to start a food truck and it is finally happening. I searched for months for a truck in our price range. I kept seeing this on Craigslist
Oh, believe me, I ignored her for months! She's in rough shape and I really did not want a bus and I really, really didn't want a "short bus". But the more I looked at her, the more potential I saw and the more I realized that she's
all I can afford. exactly perfect for me. She was dirty, neglected and well used and she needed a name. Not the business name but just a nickname. That's when a nephew that recently had a car in a accident, posted pictures of his car, "Large Marge" on Facebook and said she was dead. I knew it was a perfect nickname for our bus. I asked permission to let her name live on and thereby named our diamond in the rough. And here she is with her new paint, may I present....drum roll...........
Large Marge
Although she doesn't have her makeup on (graphics) I now think she is perfect for us. The more I get to know her the more I love her. She exactly fits our personality. Our business name is Mom's Spritzers & Snacks and our logo will be painted on the bus
eventually soon.
We are so excited to get started and we have our first events lined up out on the coast in La Push, WA for
Quileute Days and then for

facebook. and wish us luck.
